Presidential Staffer Nana Yaa Jantuah has revealed that she has called on God to deal with Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin after he allegedly referred to her as a "nobody" during the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) recently concluded "Democracy Under Attack" demonstration.
According to her, the alleged comment deeply hurt her, prompting her to leave the matter in God's hands.
Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM on August 6, 2026, an emotional Nana Yaa Jantuah recounted her reaction to the alleged remark.
"I looked directly into his face and said in my heart that if there is a living God, I present this petition to Him. This statement that has come out of your mouth, my God will deal with it. I am telling you because you cannot do that to anybody," she said.
The issue stems from an incident at the forecourt of the Jubilee House, where Nana Yaa Jantuah received a petition on behalf of the Presidency following the NPP's demonstration.
She expressed disappointment over what she described as disrespectful remarks allegedly made by the Minority Leader.

The demonstration, dubbed "Democracy Under Attack," was organized to advocate for civil liberties, the rule of law, and democratic accountability, according to the party.
Protesters marched from the vicinity of the Supreme Court to the Jubilee House, where they presented a petition outlining their concerns about what they believe are threats to Ghana's democratic values.
The demonstration also received support from other groups, including the Alliance for Accountable Governance (AFAG), which publicly backed the protest.
