The Ministry of Defence is unveiling a cenotaph in memory of late Minister of Defence, Dr Edward Omane Boamah, one year after a tragic helicopter crash that claimed his life and that of seven others.
The event has been graced by the President of the land, John Dramani Mahama, as well as the family of the late Defence Minister.
Also present at the event are the Vice President, Prof Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, the military high command, as well as other top officials of the John Dramani Mahama administration.
A cenotaph is an empty tomb or a public monument built to honour a person or a group of people whose bodies are buried somewhere else or were lost.
