The government is holding a National Inter-Faith Memorial Service at the UPSA Auditorium in Madina, Accra, as part of a series of national activities to commemorate the first anniversary of the tragic helicopter disaster that claimed the lives of eight distinguished national figures at Adansi Akrofuom in the Ashanti Region.

The solemn ceremony will bring together government officials, political leaders, families of the deceased, colleagues, members of the security services, religious leaders and the general public to honour the memory of the victims.

The service will feature prayers, tributes and reflections on the contributions of the deceased to national development, while providing an opportunity for the nation to unite in remembrance and pay respects to the fallen figures.

The memorial forms part of broader commemorative activities aimed at celebrating the lives and legacies of the deceased while offering comfort to their families and loved ones.
