Hahahahaha. The clash of "Man vs Man" captains. The very feminine Malawian goalkeeper (with her nyash) couldn't hold onto the mascline shot of the Zambian captain.

Terrible CAF, who always makes the odd rules to suit their parochial interest! By normal rule Zambia should top Group C after beating Mali 2-1, and Egypt 6-0; their only loss was a 1-0 defeat to Nigeria Super Falcons.

All 3 teams had 6 points, 2 wins each and one loss.
Under normal rules, Goal difference and highest goals scored should be the tie-breaker, but some how CAF convoluted tie-breaker is head-to-head and then goals scored by each team against the 3 top contenders with equal points against each other.
Very weird CAF tie-breaker meaning a team (Zambia) which scored 8 goals and just 3 goals against (Goal difference of +5, goes home- whilst a Malawi team (beaten by same Zambia 2-1) with just total group goals of 7 and 4 goals against (GD of +3) tops the group, even ahead of Nigeria (with GD of +4; +9 -5)and qualifies for Qtr final knock out round and Zambia who should top the groups takes early flight home to Lusaka.

All competing teams agreed to the tie-breakee rules prior to the tournament. It is the same for the men's AFCON. No need to blame CAF if Zambia could not qualify for the next stage.
