Outspoken Ghanaian cleric, Prophet Samuel Henry, popularly known as Prophet Roja, has once again shared his thoughts, this time on the leadership style of President John Dramani Mahama.

In a video shared on X and sighted by GhanaWeb on August 5, 2026, Prophet Roja commended the President following a viral video that has generated widespread discussion on social media.

In the footage, President Mahama was seen attending a Men's Sunday Service, seated among members of the congregation while dancing and praising God.

Reacting to the video, Prophet Roja said the President’s actions had taught him the importance of humility and living a quiet life.

"There's a video of President Mahama wearing his Men’s Sunday Service outfit and sitting among the congregants, dancing and praising God. He wasn't seated in front like some other people.

"This has taught me something. It teaches me that, as human beings, we should live a quiet and humble life," he said.

Prophet Roja also referenced another recent video of President Mahama during his official visit to Jamaica, saying the President's demeanour reflects humility despite occupying the highest office in the country.

According to him, no one can stop President Mahama from achieving whatever he sets out to accomplish.

"Looking at the life of President Mahama, no one can stop him from achieving anything he wants to achieve. Even though he is the President, he sat among the church members to show that he is only a servant of God," he added.

"You compare President Mahama to Opana and see the difference," he said.

When asked who he was referring to as Opana, he clarified, “I am talking about a Nigerian President. Just compare President Mahama to him and see the difference.”

Reacting to claims by some social media users that the President’s actions were merely for public attention, Prophet Roja dismissed the criticism.

According to him, such comments should not be taken seriously.

“People say he is doing it for attention. Those people should stop that foolishness. I don’t pay attention to such people,” he added.
