President John Dramani Mahama and Jamaica’s Prime Minister, Dr Andrew Holness, delivered joint media statements following bilateral talks held as part of the Ghanaian leader’s state visit to Jamaica.
The two leaders reaffirmed the longstanding historical ties between Ghana and Jamaica and outlined a shared vision for expanding cooperation in trade and investment, education, tourism, agriculture, and other areas of mutual interest.

They also underscored the importance of strengthening Africa-Caribbean relations, advancing the Pan-African agenda, and deepening collaboration on issues of mutual interest.
President Mahama is in Jamaica for a four-day state visit aimed at strengthening diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties between the two countries.
