President John Dramani Mahama and Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang joined family members, government officials, diplomats and other mourners to pay their final respects to the late Ambassador James Victor Gbeho at his funeral service on Friday, July 31, 2026.
The solemn ceremony celebrated the life and legacy of the veteran diplomat, whose decades of public service helped shape Ghana's foreign policy and strengthened the country's diplomatic relations on the global stage.
President Mahama conveyed the condolences of the government and the people of Ghana to the bereaved family, describing Ambassador Gbeho's contributions to national development and diplomacy as enduring.
