China with a population of 1.3 billion has 26 miniaters heading the constituent dwpartmwnts while US has 23 Cabinet memvers of which 15 are heading the 15 dwpartments. Indonesia has 48 miniaters while Russia has 21 federal ministers. What is this business of keeping 60 ministers relative to our populations? If China with 1.3 billion has 26 and India with 1.4 has 72, what is the justification of keeping 60 ministers? It make no sense at all. There are chief directors and other directors in these ministries

@Duc. I can not agree with you more. Well said. Please tell them. Mahama is projecting himself as a reformer but if you look critically at what he is doing he is just recycling the same old system. Hardly any changes or radical transformations are occurring since he came to power (compared to what we are seeing in a country like Ethiopia). As you rightly pointed out big economies with huge population like China, USA, etc have less number of ministers than Ghana. What justifications do we have for 60 ministers? We lack leadership in Ghana and Africa as a whole.

We don't need these self-serving amendments. Ghana is not the property of Tyrant Mahama and his greedy clique.

Sixty (60) ministers for what? Still too much. There are bigger economies in Europe and other parts of the world with less than 30 ministers.
