Too many Nurses Training Schools in Ghana. It used to be few and well managed in the 80s that is why they could travel everywhere in the world to practice without any entrance exams. Quality Nurses were produced then.

You are very right. What was the population in Ghana in 1980 as compared to now. The best option will be not to make the Nursing Schools Boarding and Lodging. The Developed countries don’t do that. Students who qualify can ... read full comment
You are very right. What was the population in Ghana in 1980 as compared to now. The best option will be not to make the Nursing Schools Boarding and Lodging. The Developed countries don’t do that. Students who qualify can take Guaranteed Loans from the Banks or the Government and rent their own places and keep them neat.
In Ghana, the Government doesn’t regularly pay for the cleaning and maintenance of schools. How can the Principal of the Nursing College be blamed for such inadequacies? Find out when was the last time the Government paid for the cleaning and maintenance at any Nursing College in Ghana. Make the Students Day ones.
