By the way you are talking about something that happened over 45years ago, how many Ghanaian youth today remember even if they were born then.We actually need the Tribunals, our courts are choked with cases that are simply not moving.

● The CRC says the provision on Public Tribunals be removed from the Constitution.
● NDC Majority In Parliament passes the Bill on Public Tribunals under a certificate of urgency while NPP minority walks out in protest.
● Musa Dankwa Polls say the public wants the provision on the Public Tribunals in the Constitution to be implemented.

You claim that 63% of Ghanaians support the recently passed Tribunals Bill. However, if you look at the discussion here, at least 90% of the comments oppose the bill. While online comments are not a scientific survey, such a wide disconnect raises legitimate questions about the survey's methodology and whether it truly reflects public opinion.
Rather than creating a parallel tribunal system, why not invest those same resources in strengthening our existing courts? Recruit more judges, improve court infrastructure, provide adequate logistical support, and introduce performance-based incentives to encourage the timely disposal of cases. If our goal is to reduce case backlogs and improve access to justice, reforming and adequately resourcing the current judicial system would achieve that without creating another layer of institutions.
That, in my view, would be a genuine reset agenda for Ghana's justice system.
