The President of IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe, has commended Finance Minister Dr Cassiel Ato Forson for his presentation of the 2026 Mid-Year Budget Review, describing it as honest, practical and presidential.

In a post shared on X on July 23, 2026, Cudjoe expressed admiration for the minister's address, saying it was the first time he had been so emotionally moved by a budget presentation.

"Charley, for the first time, I had goosebumps all over and watery eyes! What an honest, candid, practical, pragmatic, and hopeful presentation!

Cudjoe's remarks came shortly after Dr Cassiel Ato Forson presented the 2026 Mid-Year Budget Review in Parliament on Thursday, July 23, 2026.

The budget outlined the government's economic performance, fiscal outlook and key policy measures aimed at sustaining the country's recovery and growth.
