I also did not flee the country. I left for better opportunities for myself and my family. And is that wrong? And in Uncle Sam’s country, I have lived a dignified life, worked assiduously as I did in Ghana. I am presently with my family who have achieved dignified lives and professions. I am very comfortable here and don’t intend to ever come and live in Ghana. My sisters live in Chicago and Toronto. I am glad I have not failed in life and I am not a Social Discord. Do you know how much Professors are respected and appreciated and treated with dignity in the USA? I come to Ghana at times but prefer where I am living. Sometimes when people who are suppose to know better talk in a foolish way , you wonder what's going on , one has clearly violated laws of the country and is punished for it and you think it's a deliberate persecution because of who the person is, what is the problem with some Ghanaians.
We can't build this country with this mindset.
