Do you and your ilk know people died during the week of February 24th 1966 who were not found or pronounced to be guilty of a crime by any court? Do you and others know the number of Ghanaian families that were rendered fatherless or motherless? Is Adomako Baafi saying tribunals cannot operate in a democracy? Are tribunals only associated with military and authoritarian regimes?
Left to me the tribunals should deal with cases involving armed robberies,murders and corruption by politicians and public servants and with the powers to impose the severest sentences for such offences.
The tribunals will lighten the workload of judges and magistrates and justice there will be swift.
