Are some of us blinded? Life's demands can get you into a risky journey. Ghana has a paradise, but we cannot make any economic headway to get our people employed. The middle east and north Africa are deserts with arid lands. But they have been able to convert them to make life's burdens bearable.
Unfortunately, Ghana with its natural vegetation cannot progress due to environmental degradation, economic mismanagement, dishonesty, and indiscipline.
We have natural resources but the situation of "resource curse" where we're only concerned with exporting the raw materials has made our economy very vulnerable to global markets. We're unable to engage in manufacturing and value-added processing which has deprived the country of good paying employment causing the youth to make dangerous journeys.
Hmm! It's too late for any advice.

These advanced countries that Ghanaians are migrating to were once like Ghana but their visionary leaders have been implementing good and sustainable economic policies to better their citizens unlike other African leaders who are so corrupt that they neglect the plight of their citizens and rather focus on themselves and their families. If Kwame Nkrumah had not been overthrown and had remained the president, Ghana would have been an economic powerhouse in Africa with the youth having no reason to migrate elsewhere for economic opportunities except for further education. Our leaders are responsible for our problems and not until we make them accountable, we shall continue to migrate to other nations for a better future.
