Can those seized vehicles and their illegally acquired lights and Sirens be legally auctioned to the Ghana Police Service? What about making those arrested for such offenses spend about three months in Prison under very strict and HARD LABOR? If arrested for the second time for such offenses spend, let them do about three years in Solitary Confinement and in Hard Labor. That is what Ghanaians understand. Could that have been done during the rule Efo Julor John Rawlings and his AFRC crazy Government? Mahama needs to get serious.

Total waste of time and resources. The laws are clear, why are they police afraid to apply the laws. We have as many as 276 MPs making laws, if we can't apply the laws, then what is the point making them? If you warn or give a verbal warning to a driver in Accra, how would police in Oti region know if the same vehicle is there? But when you send them to court and heavily fined, they would 'spread the gospel' to other offenders. Our laws are not deterrent enough.
Our police are behaving like dogs living in a compound house, they find it hard to differentiate residents and visitors. They just don't know who to arrest because the application of our laws are selective.
