Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr Frank Amoakohene, has disclosed how he became convinced that his wife was the right partner for him, citing her thoughtfulness and selflessness as qualities that stood out from the very beginning.

Speaking at a Women’s Fellowship gathering of a Pentecost church, in a video shared on X on July 17, 2026, Dr Amoakohene recounted how his wife often showed care, even in financial matters.

He also explained how whenever he gave her money, she would sometimes return part of it after noticing that he also had financial needs.

“I immediately knew she would be of help to me the very first time I met her. In those days, whenever I sent her money and didn’t call or text, she would ask why. I would explain that I didn’t have data or airtime, and she would remind me that I was sending her money even when I barely had enough myself. Then she would ask if she should send me some back. Often, she would divide what I sent her into two and return half to me,” he narrated.

Dr Amoakohene further added that her concern extended beyond finances, noting that she often questioned his spending choices when she felt he was buying items that were not important.

“Sometimes, when I stepped out and bought certain items, she would question why I chose things she considered unimportant. Those little acts of care and thoughtfulness convinced me that she would indeed make a good wife,” he said.
