Ghanaian TikToker and influencer Asantewaa has made an emotional statement suggesting she may take her own life if she is not given the opportunity to explain the rift between her and her younger brother, Kay Vile.
In a video that has gone viral on social media and sighted by GhanaWeb on July 15, 2026, Asantewaa, during a TikTok Live session, opened up about how her younger brother has distanced himself from her for some time.
Narrating the events that led to the family fallout, Asantewaa said she still does not know what she did to make her brother suddenly stop speaking to her.
“If you don’t allow me to let this pain in me come out, I promise you guys you won’t see me alive. I’m almost done. I won’t be here for long. I see all my loved ones calling me. That is why the line keeps breaking. Please let me let it out. I’m doing this not because I want people to feel sad for me. No, I need to make things clear,” she said.

She further disclosed that she woke up one day only to realise that her brother had blocked her on all social media platforms without any explanation.
“I woke up one day and realised I had been blocked on all the social media platforms where my brother and I followed each other, for no reason. But the kind of ego my brother has… I’ve lived with him all these years. He doesn’t even care how you feel.”
According to the socialite, one of the most painful moments came when she visited her brother after he was admitted to the Ridge Hospital.
She explained that her attempt to see him ended in humiliation after a nurse informed her that her brother had instructed hospital staff not to allow her into his room.
“Because he was in a critical condition, almost all my family members were there. I saw a cousin come out of the room and was about to enter when a nurse stopped me and said my brother had instructed them not to allow me in. I was embarrassed. I was sad. Whatever the issue was, I still don’t know, and I left,” she added.
The video has triggered massive reactions online as some netizens have expressed their worry over the suicidal statement made by the social media influencer.
