Your insults shows how indisciplined and outrageous you are. Just try to reason up. Banks and other institutions can volunteer to clean up outside their businesses because they pay taxes for people to be employed to do that kind of business. Why should they pay taxes to the community after paying taxes to the Government.
Growing up, before Efo Julor John Rawlings sent Ghana into Depression with his nasty and bogus AFRC which led to Retrenchment of even very young and able bodied people in the country, citizens of the country paid Taxes and people were employed to clean up and weed every part of the community. Even the TANKASE summons workers went around into the homes of people who didn’t make them clean. After the Retrenchment, all this stopped. Tell your Government that it is its responsibility to clean up Public places but not Businesses. Businesses are to pay Taxes for this to be done. Unfortunately, we always have corrupt Governments and Politicians who don’t enforce them but only take delight in stealing up the money of the Government and the people.

This cleaning up exercises make no sense. This 21st century, no serious country does this. Productive working hours were wasted yesterday during the exercise. So many people and youth have no work to do so sanitation management in the country must be dedicated to a company to run daily. This will create employment for so many people. This one or two days cleaning up exercise monthly can't solve our sanitation problem. The waste collection must be done daily coz a lot of waste is generated everyday in the country. . We should be serious as a nation. We don't have good leaders at all. Our leaders still think like the Gold coast era.

Honestly, it is sad and ludicrous that our government does not seem to understand that government and its agencies have no lawful right to order anyone to do any kind of work at any time. At most, it can appeal for citizens to freely volunteer. If gutters are choked along a public road in front of someone's business, it is du to the incompetence and mismanagement of those running the country over the months and years. Our various taxes and property rates are sufficient for a competent government to pay trained workers to do this job.

Stupid idiots!!! It is not and should not be the responsibility of a Bank staff to go out and be sweeping the streets. What is our understanding of productivity? The Bank is probably dealing with clients across the world and you want them to leave their job and go out and collect borla (trash)? Something is fundamentally wrong with the Ghanaian political leadership. Where are all the unemployed youths across the country? Can't they be mobilized to carry out such an assignment? Honestly, I can not wait to see John Mahama leave the scene in January 2029. The guy is totally hopeless and lacks a sense of urgency. He is just administering what is there and doing very little to transform the country. ORAL is dead and his 24 hour economy is nothing more than cutting sod for market construction. Unfortunately, many Ghanaians don't travel and therefore cannot see the slow pace at which we are moving compared to other African countries such as Ethiopia, Kenya, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Tanzania, Senegal and Namibia. Even Angola, Mozambique and Ivory Coast are doing better than us.

@Name.Typical Ghanaian. We are always seeing everything through the political lens. This is not an NPP nor NDC issue but a national issue. There is nothing in France's submission which indicates that he is advocating for the return of the NPP party. You are probably one of those who have never traveled outside Ghana so your perception is limited. It is true that our leaders are not doing well. No nation has solved its sanitation problems through communal labor. We need to put a proper drainage system in place and employ people to manage the rubbish collection through out the city.
