What benefits are you referring to from the appreciation of the cedi for your constituents?
All of the hard currency being pumped into the system to strengthen the cedi could instead have been invested in projects that directly benefit the masses by creating jobs, improving infrastructure, and expanding essential services.
I am not sure why you believe the appreciation of the cedi, by itself, is such an encouraging development. A stronger currency is only meaningful if it is supported by sustainable economic growth and translates into tangible improvements in the lives of ordinary citizens.

It’s amazing how Ghanaians can’t understand that the current economy is not sustainable in the long term. If gold prices continues to drop, all of these “cedi gains” will be reversed in just a few months. BoG is simply gambling at this point, and hoping that gold prices remain elevated.
