How was Egypt robbed when they sat down and allowed Argentina to score 3 clean goals. When their second goal was cancelled they still went ahead abd scored another which was allowed. The so called argument that Salah was fouled for a penalty is untrue because looking critically at the replay Salah put his feet in and dived, a footbal trick most strikers use to cheat. Yes, Martinez touched him, but it was because Salah put his feet in knowing Martinez was kicking the ball.

The argument is that when Egypt scored the second goal and Argentina complained, VAR stopped the game to review it. So similarly, when Argentina scored their 3rd goal and Egypt complained, it was not only the Salah incident, but Trezeguez also seemed to have been pushed or dragged in the Argentine penalty box and both should have been at least reviewed. But VAR and the ref did not, just as they did not review the penalty Ghana should have had in the Ghana-England game. Do you believe if it was in favor of Argentina, they would not have reviewed it? You can't just say some of these things are just coincidental.
Also, claiming Egypt just sat down and allowed Argentina to win does not make sense because if FIFA decides to rig a game, they can still turn a 2-0 or 3-0 lead into a 5-3 defeat in 10-15 minutes through the power of the whistle.

How can fifa tell egypt play low block like ghana did against england or just sustain the win. Egypt in my view couldt manage the game well to get the win. Yes ref & VAR officials might be sleeping on the job but win management were poor. 2: 1 is still history that you won argentina in quater finals and 7: 0 means same. Africa must be smart in tournerments like this.

Africa must stay away from FIFA games and any similar theft-driven competitions. Allow FIFA to start awarding cups to countries they so wish without playing even a match. This is disgraceful.

Major Mamdani, please say it again. FIFA is disgracing itself in front of the whole world to see. Now it seems FIFA wants Messi and Argentina to win the world cup. Those of us born and bred in football countries and all the game we know is football, are so disgusted about the way this world cup is going. The FIFA President, Infantino, has already disgraced himself and should resign immediately or be voted out of office. And now his referees are following suit. This idiot who officiated the Egypt/ Argentina game, should be banned for the rest of his life. What a day time robbery? He should be probed and send to jail. If they want Argentina to win, then why the competition? They can easily give the trophy to Messi and his bastards. Africa has been robbed from the beginning of the tournament and FIFA is making sure that all these teams from Europe and South America will have 12 players, including the referees to win for their favorite teams. This is so unfair, unfortunate and FIFA should bow down their head in shame.
