It's not only team spirit, but technical ineptitude by Coach Carlos Queiroz who played Jordan as a striker in 4 matches. He never had a shot at goal in all these games yet the coach started him and kept him too long on the pitch before substitutions.
With Afcon qualifiers coming on in a few months time, if the coach will be retained, he has to be courageous enough to start Jordan from the bench. We need good back ups for Senaya and Gideon Mensah. Derrick Kohn should be invited. If Kudus is unfit, the coach must scout for a play maker for the team.

Nine games out of every 10 you have to concede the first goal because you are afraid to play forwards.

Unfortunately, many Ghanaians don’t appreciate people who speak the truth. Too often, when something is clearly black, they insist it’s white, and when it’s white, they claim it’s black. Speaking the truth shouldn’t be seen as a crime.

It was clear our coach didn’t want Ghana to win against Colombia. Otherwise how can he explain why he left Adjetey and Brandon Thomas on the bench and played inactive Jordan almost the entire game. Common sense required you don’t change a winning team and strategy. He ought to have used the same squad that played England plus the same strategy that almost beat England had the referee or VAR been fair to Ghana and world soccer. If it succeeded against England, how much more Colombia? This rented Portuguese coach bragging about his experience with the Colombia team and speaking Spanish certainly favored the Colombia team over Ghana’s. His post-game comments praising the Colombia team tells where his loyalty lies. He insinuated that Colombia was a better team. Has he forgotten that Ghana excelled against the England team which has better players than Colombia. If he really wanted Ghana to beat Colombia, our coach could have used the same team and strategy that disarmed England.

Don’t be myopic! The coach threw away the game to the Colombians and instead of thinking critically, you’re praising him. He did well in the tournament until we met Colombia where his loyalty lied. Be critical so he doesn’t take us for granted. We could’ve beaten Colombia if he wanted us to do so just as our game with England. Using the same team and strategy used against England, the second time against Colombia would’ve given us a win. It is the same strategy that Paraguay used to reach group of 16. Against France, they almost caused an upset too!
