The health and economic impact of outdoor air pollution affect all the population and not only vulnerable sections of people in the country.One of the main cause of the problem is the soot coming from the exhaust of dilapidated trotro vehicles on our highways. One would wonder how do such vehicles pass yearly pollution remission tests in DVLA.

The MTTD are always on the road, how many times have they arrested vehicles emitting smoke? Seriously, nothing will happen. We talk about problems; we don't solve them.

Efforts to prevent pollution: A statement about the dangers of pollution - Air and Noise, should precede every News broadcast on radio or TV. Looks to me that pollution is excessive in Ghana. We’re not safe at all!
