WHY WOULD A GHANAIAN GO TO HUSTLE IN POOR GAMBIA OR XENOPHOBIC SOUTH AFRICA? IT'S BECAUSE GHANA'S SUCCESSIVE THIEVING LEADERS ARE USELESS THIEVES AND FREELOADERS! VERY SAD!
HAS ANY BLACK GHANAIAN SEEN ANY TAX-FREE WEALTHY SAUDI ARABIA OR QATAR CITIZEN HUSTLING IN OTHER NATIONS LIKE GHANAIANS DO? NO, IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN BECAUSE ARAB CITIZENS OF THESE NATIONS ARE WELL TAKEN CARE OF BY THEIR GOVERNMENTS WITH ONLY CRUDE OIL AND LPG EXPORT REVENUES.
THAT'S WHY DONALD TRUMP RESPECT GULF ARABS, PERIOD. TRUMP VISITS THEM VERY OFTEN AND TRUMP APPRECIATES THE AMAZING INFRASTRUCTURE AND SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT THEIR LEADERS HAVE BROUGHT AND CONTINUE TO BRING TO THEIR CITIZENS AND NATION STATES.
NO ONE RESPECTS GHANAIANS AND THEIR USELESS THIEVING LEADERS, LET ALONE AFRICANS.
GHANA'S LEADERS, STARTING WITH NKRUMAH, HAVE FAILED GHANA BIG TIME, AND MAHAMA IS MAKING THE SAME FOOLISH MISTAKES FOOLISHLY THINKING HE CAN UNITE AFRICA LIKE NKRUMAH FOOLISHLY DID.
NO AFRICAN LEADER CAN UNITE AFRICA BECAUSE ALL THE LEADERS ARE POWER- DRUNK SELF-SEEKING CRIMINAS LIKE AKUFO-ADDO, KUFUOR, THE ASANTEHENES AND OTHER GHANA CHIEFS, SAM JONAH, ETC.
GHANA'S LEADERS ARE DUMB! THAT'S WHY GHANA IS POTENTIALLY RICH BUT POOR, CONSTANTLY BORROWING, AND HEAVILY INDEBTED TO THE IMF/WORLD BANK, CHINA EXIM BANK, AND EVEN TO HAIR DRESSING SALOONS IN LONDON.
GHANA IS A CURSED NATION OF FOOLISH THIEVING, FREELOADING AND SELF-OPINIONATED LEADERS. WE ARE CURSED FOREVER!

Wow. And very sad. So NADMO couldn’t give Atinka any PPE at all? This is a huge risk that the gentleman took since dead body from flooding will be full of infectious agents. Bravo to Atinka but cry, Ghana.

This flood rescue job is for the navy, police ,nadmo and soldiers but they are rather comfortable in their barracks whiles the government wants individual civilians do the risky job. What are thr many doing? Why can't they bring small small boats ,. even robes to secure across the flowing g rivers to help rescue? Nadmo and the navy must make recruitment this time and recruit special teams that can risk and swim in times like this. Those civilians who are helping to retrieve bodies must be giv3n jobs.

President Mahama's knee-jerk reaction to the recent flooding disaster, before a thorough investigation had been conducted, reflects a lack of leadership and understanding of the complexity of the problem. He was quick to attribute the flooding solely to indiscipline among residents. However, the issue is far more complex than that explanation suggests.
Waste management in Ghana is largely dysfunctional. During my visit to Ghana in 2025, I found that it was often difficult to locate designated refuse collection points for proper garbage disposal. When citizens have limited access to waste disposal facilities, improper waste disposal becomes a predictable consequence rather than simply a matter of indiscipline.
Furthermore, Accra's rapid population growth and urban expansion have outpaced the city's infrastructure. Government must invest in and expand engineering solutions, including drainage systems, flood control measures, and urban planning initiatives, to address the city's perennial flooding challenges.
The recurring floods in Accra are the result of years of poor planning, inadequate infrastructure investment, weak enforcement of development regulations, and ineffective waste management systems. Assigning blame to public indiscipline alone oversimplifies a longstanding problem that has been shaped by decades of governance and planning failures.
