My brother is your money stolen if your money is stolen there is a Police station you can report to. Technically ladies and gentlemen there are enough laws to deal with unexplained wealth. If the person is found guilty of the wealth in his name there are laws available for that such as stealing, robbery, misappropriation of funds, conflict of interest, and many others so such excesses are already taken care of. There are people employed and receiving salaries to make sure people are whip in line if their wealth is questionable.

If the person commits a crime you prosecute the person based on the crime but criminalizing wealth makes you completely dumb.

You are rather very ignorant. The law is to stop others stealing from you. If you have genuine money, you know where it came from and should be able to explain that to the authorities.

What is the work of the auditors if they are not able to find a crime then there was no crime. But if an officer confessed a crime then the auditor should be treated as an accomplice. You don't look for problems when there is none otherwise our everyday freedom will be abused in the name of wealth explanation. What sense does it make if I have to ask you to explain your wealth today and on daily basis another person also find you to explain your wealth as though you are a property of the public. Freedom is our right and the right to earn a livelihood should not be auditor by any law others you infringe on those laws. If the person commits a crime related to money even with that it must be specific but you can not take a small portion of his money related crime to criminalize his entire wealth else we will be fighting for lazy to just Cook unfounded allegations against you just to steal from you and render you useless for your hard work over a long period pain, trauma to accumulate your wealth. I have an active Case in fact I want a lawyer to come and experience what I am talking come and work with me and you will understand the danger if we just generalized everything. A Police officer collected my money on false pretence that one Man reported that I owe him which in fact it is not true and later the police officer confessed that it is not true that the man actually knows but in fact the man doesn't know me so you can imagine what I am going through the police officer supposed to pay the money back to me but up to now he has not paid money so ladies and gentlemen if you are advocating for a dangerous law and I am saying it is wrong I am opposing with experience I currently need a lawyer to Sue him. I am even scared of the lawyers and the judges in this country because of corruption they can easily get corrupted hmmmm this country will destroy us all.

Some of these penniless CSOs and advocates who must justify their nokofio with the foreign donors, and who have no genuine political enemies speak as though we're in Utopia. The burden of proof has always been, and should always be, on they who allege to prevent nincompoops pretending to be enforcing the law from abusing the rights and privileges of citizens of a free, democratic state. State investigative agencies should employ professional, legitimate and ethical means to pursue suspicions of corruption rather than harassment, coercion, threats and other silly tricks to obtain confessions. Has the disgraceful conduct of the OSP in the Ofori-Atta matter and the consequent failures of that office not taught us any lessons in how not to conduct investigations, to not rely on preconception and an insatiable need to prove? Come again, sir!

We have a very complex family set up sometimes with Individual, immediate family, larger family and even community wealth all bungled together. Infact some wealth must be applied to the welfare of entire communities and families rather than the individual That's in Ghana somebody can be cursed by family members for 'enjoying' their hard acquired wealth alone. Even funerals, outdooring, etc can make somebody rich overnight.
