I must admit that the current Black Stars have learned to play as a unit real fast. I am not as panicked as l was before the games begun. With a lot of injured top players and not much preparations, l could not see the Stars doing anything extraordinary. My fear was with the defense, l mean, how were the Black Stars going to perform at the back without Salisu and Djiku? I am glad to see our current crop of defenders performing excellently! Senaya is just great to watch so are the other guys in defense. The impact of the injured Kudus is still present though. I think Asante could fill up the vacuum if we find a way to boost up his confidence. I suspect that Nuamah, who could have successfully filled in for Kudus, is not fully fit. Kwabena Adu can attract a lot of set pieces from opposing teams. Partey used to be so good with set pieces, l wonder if he still has it in him. Jordan wasn't bad either with set pieces in those days. All in all, the defense has pleasantly surprised some of us, we hope our forwards will do something similar. Good luck to our Ghana Black Stars!
