For sure South Africa is in class of its own when it comes to violent crime and murder- they would probably win a gold medal if violent crime, murder and rape were part of the Olympic competition. Ghana might qualify for an "Olympic " crime competition but would unlikely win any medals at this stage. Another country not too far from Ghana might possibly win a Bronze Olympic Medal for violent crime and murder but definitely would win a silver or even gold medal for internet fraud and scamming which they carry out on an epic scale and have now earned a well-deserved worldwide reputation.

It made sure they had zero or very little skills training. It made sure entrepreneurial spirit and skills were nonexistent among Black South Africans. They also developed rebellious tendencies bcuz they constantly had to be anti-establishment.
And the apartheid economic system, in which the whites, Asians, etc in that order hold the fertile lands and the businesses, is still in place.
Of course, part of the problem is their own attitude, their refusal to think deeply and the corruption of the Black politicians.
