Shouldn't this be the reasons why we built the NIA system?. Can't NIA be invited to help identify the victim?.

Exactly. Her digital footprint should be in some database...even social media.. phone registration... something... somewhere. Hope they find her family.

Patient should have a phone or something keep it plugged someone will definitely call, get the cyber getting team of the Ghana police service to run her face against social media database. I suspect this patient has a head injury so in coma, let the police run their database if there is a file for a missing person?

I personally know people who travel for long distance but have no identification card, and in some cases, no phone as well. When questioned they have no answers.

So, we spent a lot of money on biometric ghana cards, we take pictures and finger print when you get a phone card, even foreigners have to finger print to get a foreigners version of Ghana card, many institutions use finger prints and pictures..schools..banks..... has she no finger print profile anywhere in the whole world. I am sure she at least had a registered phone. Bizarre that she cannot be identified with all the technology . My question is... what do we do with all the biometric information. Any central database ???? A serious question out of curiosity not out of malice. May she rest peacefully and condolences to a family looking for a loved one. Sad

How do you expect to get help identify a female patient when you put a picture of the hospital. Can the social service department at the hospital not take a picture of the patient to publish and also seek assistance from the GBC and other private road and tv company to offer a free 2minute slot for the lady to appeal to her family and friends to come get her. The social service department should collect her to one of their holding accomodations to help free up much needed hospital bed space. Is the patient not able to identify herself. Or she isnt fully recovered. These are issues the all hospitals have social service departments paid for by tax paysrs to helpaddress such issues. Its also similar to government hospital mortuaries, filled to the entrance door, no space in the fridges to keep the dead. So you find bodies littered all over the floors from pre mature babies, day old babies to very old adults. Some lying down, others sitting, others in rude positions, and no one claims them. At the mortuaries parliament should pass an emergency law which requires families to make weekly visits to pay for their dead relations mortuary stay. If no one comes for 2 weeks the mortuary should by law cremate the dead person . This will help address the over crowding and decomposing of the dead at mortuaries especially korle bu. I was at korle bu last 2 weeks. If l had the funding means l will pay for all the workers to immediately retire on their full paytill they pass on. They do an amazing job in such a very difficult notfit for purpose environment. Let us all remember the very hard job they do.
