Can we reduce presidential term years from 4 to 3 and term limits rather from 2 to 3,If you can't do anything in 4 years you can't either in 4 or 5 years

From what I have observed, Ghana doesn't need our kind of multi-party democracy. I urge Ghanaians to read about the Swiss kind of democracy. The citizens have the power and not the executive or any elected individuals. Accountability is high. The kind of constitutional review we needed is not what was proposed by the committee. See the cost our elections, can we say it's OK for a poor African country like ours to bear this cost every 4 years? See the amount of money politicians spend right down from their grassroots up to the national level. Why won't they be corrupt after winning power. We need a different kind of democracy. The one we have gives too much power to the elected rather than the citizens.

Kufuor and Akuffo Addo both had the constitution reviewed too.
And the stupidity of all these presidents is setting up a commission to review but shelve the recommendations and NOTHING HAPPENS! Remember that commission members are conpensated handsomely. Total waste of public funds.
Here we have a lawyer who must understand what LEGACY means but is using it grossly out of context.

THE MOST IMPORTANT CONSTITUTIONAL REFORM IS TO ALLOW CONSTITUENTS TO ELECT DIRECTLY THEIR MAYORS AND CHIEF EXECUTIVES. WITHOUT THIS CHANGE THE ENTIRE PROCESS WOULD BE POINTLESS.

Stop the nonsense, John Dariga Mahama has no legacy. The only legacy is criminality and arrest of his political opponents.

The repercussions of the 1992 constitution given to Ghanaians by the PNDC government, steered by Justice D. Annan, and Professor S. K. B Asante are the mass looting of state assets by the political class and their allies, high unemployment rate, poor health facilities designated only for the poor class, slavery salaries, economic crisis and many more. The only benefits goes to the few political class and their allies who pay themselves even better than their American and EU counterparts from the same mismanaged economy. But because shallow minds couldn't linked causes of their plights to the bad constitution, they rather blame it on Satan sitting somewhere, and support the mess which resist the amendment of the constitution. It so sad! Well said Baker!
