Many of our so called Professors and those with Doctorate Degrees cannot be allowed to lecture at the university in the Western World because they don’t carry out any researches and Publications.. When I was at UCC so many decades ago, it was only Dr. Pecki who published a book on GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING. Tony Aidoo was just argumentative and verbose. He never published even a Pamphlet. I think Ghana should have the Uncle Sam’s system where Lecturers who do not research and make publications every three years are made to go away by the Universities. The Education System should make this mandatory. Are we not sick and tired of almost every University Lecturer and other Educationists are trying to become, and doing Politics wherever they go We want our Lecturers to research and publish. We are tired of relying on their Ten Year Old Lecture Notes that they give to students always.
