Nelson must know that Daily Graphic is not a propaganda mouth piece of NDC. Ghanaians need to know that KATH is in that problem so they can make alternative decisions.
Nelson does not get this?

In this matter silence is better than gold. Nana Aba Anamoah is making things worse for herself by telling the minister that Daily Graphic is not a mouthpiece of the government.
The matter is that workers can go on strike if he matter has something to do with conditions of service and working environment. A worker cannot stop disciplinary investigations and actions by the employer against an employee.
A workers cannot also call for the dismissal of another employee, without any disciplinary procedure.
I am also a journalist, having sat in the classroom for a period of five years studying journalism.
I am taken aback by the fact that whiles the President of Ghana was away and there was flooding, that the Vice President visited the affected areas, but the press is munu on her visits, but raised issues about the government mismanagement of the flooding.
As a journalist, knowing how to present issues, I may say that the press care less about the safety of Ghanaians and is rather interested in issues that undermine governance.
I have not read the Daily Graphic newspaper's comment on the strike by the doctors and nurses at the Okomfo Anokye Hospital, Kumasi to see their personal relations to the issue, I mean their view point to make further comment.
However if the government have any stone to grind with any journalist on that matter its his or her comment, not report, that is the stone that will be used to size the stone that must be grind.

The Daily Graphic has been like that.
As for the that "Special Relationship " coach, it will serve her better to continue with her " laudable " promotions in the relationship world.

That is the NDC for you. They don't understand democracy. They think the state press should be doing bootlicking and praise singing. A Vice President visiting the flood-prone area is good but that could not reverse the damages and losses. The Strike of the doctors l believe was more critical because it was about health. Dofeamakpor has goofed on this one and what he said should be ignored. The Daily Graphic is sponsored with taxpayer's money but not the NDC members' money. Daily Graphic, pls ignore the lawmaker and do your work by prioritising the most important issues for front page. Ignore him.
