Eii Ablakwa, I am not saying the returnees should not be given jobs to do but what has Ablakwa and the government done so far for the unemployed already in the country, is the State able to employ all the existing ones.In my view this announcement sounds like a propaganda and if I were Ablakwa I would keep quiet over this very much uncalled for.

The Ghana government has really put South Africa to shame, massive shame. The speed and alacrity alone with which we evacuated our compatriots from SA is embarrassing enough for them. This is why Ghanaians must be empowered to take over the "commanding heights of the economy". Entrepreneurs like Ibrahim Mahama, Despite, the Tobinco guy, Ernest Chemists, Ghanaians in agric and agro processing, etc must be supported to create more sustainable jobs for the teeming youth. And this must be done devoid of politics.
Meanwhile all of Africa must come together to root against South Africa at the World Cup to serve as a deterrent to them and others nursing similar xenophobic ambitions. We must all learn to appreciate our interdependence and interconnectedness and the fact that no nation is an island of stability in an ocean of turmoil. BRAVO to these gallant Ghanaian entrepreneurs.
