Prophet Emmanuel Worlasi has issued a series of damning prophecies about the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) government, predicting a tumultuous 2027 characterized by severe economic turbulence, labor unrest, and high-profile corruption scandals.
The man of God made these assertions during an interview on Kumasi-based Hello FM (101.5 FM), in a broadcast sighted by GhanaWeb on Monday, June 8, 2026.
Clarifying his political neutrality and standing with the administration, Prophet Worlasi emphasised that his revelations were born out of spiritual foresight rather than political malice or partisan bias.
He disclosed that he has maintained strong ties with the ruling party and actively supported their previous electoral campaign.

“I have a good relationship with the NDC. I have worked tirelessly for them in the previous election,” the Prophet revealed.
“It is not as if I hate the NDC and its government. [But] the NDC will have a difficult 2027 year. …they must do something about it,” he warned.
According to the prophet, the stability of the local currency will face severe pressure, causing the US Dollar to "shoot up" significantly.
More damaging to the government's image, however, will be a series of institutional crises. He specifically pointed to the Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD), alleging that the state-run cocoa marketer will be rocked by massive controversies.
Prophet Worlasi warned that the fallout from these impending scandals would trigger widespread public sector strikes, effectively erasing the ruling party’s administrative goodwill from the minds of the electorate.
“I’ve had this vision consistently. In 2026, things are going well but 2027 will be a difficult year for them. The dollar will shoot up, mark my words. Two, there will be a lot of scandals around GOLDBOD [COCOBOD]. The Government will be hit by so many strikes because a lot of scandals will hit the ruling NDC party," he cautioned. "Many will forget the gains NDC had made,” he said.
When the host questioned whether he would intervene spiritually to avert the looming crisis, Prophet Worlasi said, the appointees of NDC do not pray and he might be verbally abused.
“They will insult me,” the cleric responded bluntly.
“They don't pray,” he added.
