This statement by the minority caucus is so unfortunate. Are we now in a lawless country where essential service providers can declare a strike over any minor issue. This is not a strike over salaries but just over the egos of doctors who want to be overpampered to the extent even where a manifest wrong has been committed, it should be overlooked? What was the CEO of the Komfo Anokye Hospital thinking when he decided to unilaterally close down the ICU of the biggest hospital within the middle belt and northern sector? Mind you the president had said earlier that such closures should not be effected and yet a CEO of such a big hospital does it. Were there no other options avaliable for managing the pressure on the hospital's ICU than closing it? And when the ceo is suspended for taking such a backward decision, a strike is declared by other doctors in the hospital without reference to the national labour commission. Is ghana now a lawless country? And you have a minority caucus of paliament supporting such lawlessness and not caring about lives that will be lost by such senseless on the part of the doctors. If they think this is what will bring them to power, they better start thinking properly!!!!!!

It even took the Otumfour hell to appeal for funds to renovate the KATH. Meanwhile, the NPP surrogates were busily looting the state. Those shameless doctors at KATH should remember their oath to the people of Ghana and stop the nonsense. In a civilised society, there is discipline.
