I remember the match in Kumasi the writer stated. Osumanu Amadu received the Red card but Hearts won 0-1.
Can the writers write about Osumanu Amadu one day?
A very helpful striker but it appears a lot have forgotten about him.
Because Ghana football does not emphasize on strikers but midfielders, we don't pay attention to players like Osumanu Amadu.
In fact, he is one of the strongest foundations for Hearts Caf Champions league WIN IN 2000.
His 2 goals in Guinea against Horoya helped Hearts qualify for the League stage but he's forgotten by the media and many fans.

Bring back the old days when Ghana football was football. Hearts and Kotoko at Accra sports stadium -you go there at 10am, for a 3oclock match, get whipped by police on horses (those who jump the line ) go and watch a fully filled stadium- Great great great. Now our football is dead- so sad. 64batalion was the best hearts of oak team better than the fearsome five group in my view- though they were all great- God richly bless them for the entertainment they gave us. Phooooooooooooobia. The Best.

Sad our TV stations won't show us matches from those great days of Ghanaian football. The attendance at the stadia alone was enough to make you return home happy. As children, we would stand in front of our house and see people climbing the floodlights at the now Baba Yaro Stadium when Hearts played Kotoko. The countless university students who walked by at dawn on their way to the stadium for a 3pm kick-off were amazing. With numerous radios at vantage points, people gathered to listen to commentary, and the noise in the community that greeted goals was amazing.
Just like we threw away pure God-given potatoes for the one they call potato chips, which don't taste nice without extra salt, we have killed the joy that emanated from our stadia. Talented young men find no pride playing at our stadia and so throw their lives away warming benches elsewhere.
God, help us find our way back.
