We all watched and listened as you actively participated in the parliamentary debate. We heard you explain your omnibus clause and make your case. So what was it that you were unable to argue into the final bill?
Laws are not set in stone; they evolve. The important thing is that we now have a law in place—one that can be strengthened, amended, and improved if there are genuine gaps to address.
Isn't that better than having no law at all?
After all, the alternative was what we saw before: a bill that many considered "good" was passed by Parliament, yet it was never signed into law. Surely a law that can be improved is preferable to a law that never takes effect.

Reading the amendment, it makes lots of sense. If an LGBTQ patient goes to the hospital, should the nurse or doctor refuse treatment for fear of beign punished? Is the doctor or nurse not discharging her duty. This is just an example of what the amendment seeks to address. But as usual a fool is a fool, no matter how hard you try to educate him.
