Whatever we say we are still brothers and sisters, and Ghana and South African leaders are mature enough to handle this in a diplomatic manner without further inflaming matters. Talk of discontinuing commercial links is very short-sighted and intemperate.
I hope that both South African and Ghanaian political leaders will demonstrate maturity, wisdom and vision and reach out to each other to smooth over these matters. THIS IS NOT THE TIME FOR A KNEE JERK REACTIONS.
