The man was not on an official government or parliamentary mission when he was arrested. So why does Dafeamekpor think we're so interested in his case that he keeps giving us a blow by blow account of his fate?

The fact that he is an Independent in Parliament does not take away the fact that he is an NPP man as we all know what transpired before going Independent, being Independent does not make him NDC either. Dafeamekpor is just doing what is expected diplomatically of any responsible government. Di you also think the NPP would have taken up such a case under Nana Addo if the MP were NDC.They would have shouted, crucify, crucify, crucify him.

Whether ndc or npp would have shouted “crucify him” or not is not the issue. The law will take its course and his past actions will determine whether he becomes a free man or he spends an enternity in a sin bin.

What has happened to the moral fabric of this nation?
Growing up as a non Akan in Ashanti Region, I recall how ill gotten gains were frowned upon. When families of young ladies did due diligence on prospective husbands, it was never about how rich he was. After all, the families knew that his riches did not belong to his wife or children. Instead, they investigated the CHARACTER and REPUTATION of the man’s family. Are they decent, respectable and healthy people? No crooks, no thieves, no wife beaters, no drunkards or hereditary diseases. Even though customary polygamy was ok, philandering, womanising and generally sleeping around was not acceptable.
If Ghana had not thrown away such values and stopped questioning the sources of people’s wealth, this man would never have been given a position of leadership by the people of Asante Akyem.
After all, didn’t the Omanhemaa of Agogo call him a scammer? And wasn’t she made to retract and apologise?
I’m not saying that he is guilty. But I say that he is no wife of Caesar.

Interesting, bail for temporary freedom to stay in the Netherlands and not under detention whiles the Dutch continue with whatever they are trying to do or to come back to Ghana ( how can this be a temporary release).Dafeamekpor is talking as if the Dutch or the westerners for that matter joke with legal matters like we do in Ghana. Frimpong was arrested in another jurisdiction where he is being accused of involvement in a crime against them there and not Ghana. This bail application is a joke and will not be granted.
