People who have stolen hundreds of millions of state money - the money belonging to all Ghanaians, are unjustifiably given bail and never-ending court processes. So what is your problem? The courts should not even bother about court processes for this boy. He should just be taken to the local community center and given 15 lashes of the cane on his backsides. That will more likely deter him from further criminal activities than putting him in jail where he will gain a Masters degree in burglary before he is released.

If indeed the area guys knew that the accused is a burglar, it's better to be remanded in police custody for his personal safety than being granted bailed to avoid mob justice.
