I have worked there before during the days of Southern Cross and Obenemase and I can say without fear of contradiction that these lucky guys are thieves who went to steal from the mining pits which are water soaked and unsupported and so easily cave in,hundreds have died there unannounced,policemen detailed to guard tw pits to prevent encroachment rather show them where suspected gold bearing rocks are located,any such mishap and the police flee the scene without reporting.These rogues are just lucky.
