The Head of Sales at Skysat Technologies Ghana Limited, Richard Gyimah, says the latest Konica Minolta printing technologies will help businesses reduce printing costs while improving efficiency and data security.

Speaking to journalists at the launch of the Konica Minolta Print Experience Centre on Thursday, May 14, 2026, Gyimah said changing customer preferences and growing concerns about data security are driving the need for smarter and more efficient printing solutions.

“One thing about user preferences is that they change day in and day out. You first have to conduct market analysis to see what is currently trending, so it is based on demand,” he said.

According to him, issues such as cloud storage, authentication, privacy, and confidentiality have become increasingly important as technology continues to evolve.

“Twenty years ago, security was not of great concern, but today people are much more focused on authentication, permissions, privacy, and confidentiality,” he explained.

Gyimah noted that the new Konica Minolta machines introduced by Skysat Technologies are specifically designed to address these modern business needs.

“What we are launching today and the machines on display will help businesses achieve all these objectives,” he said.

He added that commercial users are increasingly looking for ways to reduce operational expenses, particularly printing costs.

“With this new technology, the cost per print has been reduced to the bare minimum. Combined with our advanced AI-enabled technologies, businesses can achieve more results with less waste,” he stated.

The launch event featured live demonstrations of advanced Konica Minolta production systems and provided participants with the opportunity to interact with the company’s technical team on the capabilities and benefits of the new printing solutions.
