Former Education Minister and Member of Parliament for Bosomtwe, Yaw Osei Adutwum, has commended Skysat Technologies Ghana Limited following the launch of its Konica Minolta Print Experience Centre, describing the initiative as a major boost for schools, small businesses, and event planners in Ghana.

Speaking to journalists at the launch on Thursday, May 14, 2026, Adutwum said the printing solutions offer high-speed output at affordable costs, making them particularly suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises.

“I think, based on what they are saying, these machines print at a very high speed, and the prices are very manageable for small businesses. So this is good. I'm excited to be in such an environment,” he said.

Dr Adutwum noted that some of the printers and print management systems would be especially beneficial to private schools seeking to improve efficiency and monitor staff printing activities.

“I’ve also seen some that work very well for schools, especially private schools. They can assign each teacher a password and monitor the number of copies they print each week,” he stated.

According to him, the technology allows school administrators to set limits on both colour and black-and-white printing, helping institutions control operational costs.

“You can even define how many colour copies and how many black-and-white copies each teacher can print. I think the machines are designed for schools, and I encourage schools to explore how they can use them to their advantage,” he added.

Dr Adutwum further said the printing solutions would also benefit businesses in the events industry, particularly those involved in producing brochures, flyers, and funeral programmes.

“I can also see event planners coming here to print brochures for funerals and other occasions. It will be a great experience for all of them. So I’m excited,” he noted.

The event, organised by Skysat Technologies Ghana Limited, featured live demonstrations of advanced Konica Minolta production systems, including the Konica Minolta AccurioPress C14010 and Konica Minolta AccurioPress C4065P.

Participants also interacted with the company’s technical team to explore the capabilities of the newly launched machines.
