    How many of the poles got broken on the day and is it just a coincidence? I know sometimes weather can have effect on the materials used to produce poles but to have more than one (1) getting broken is strange.

    Why does the official and GhanaWeb call the equipment a vault? Vault is the action of leaping or springing over an obstacle and in Pole Vault sport, the equipment used is called a pole (not a vault).

    Athletes equipment are personal. They trained with it and bevomes part of them. It is normal practice to have your own equipment.
