Does Mahama realize he is the President, i.e CEO of Ghana? His job is not to express concern. He should use his authority to ensure compliance with the laws of the land.

A word to the wise...you people with long mouth who keep going to report landlords, you will soon be sleeping outside or in Mahama's house.
Just build! Get a piece of land and build from scratch!
Maybe you will understand the pain and sacrifice then.
Most houses will soon be empty and you will sleep outside or go back to the village.

Pretending to be on the side of workers. What happened to Saglemi. Please be realistic. The rent law is obsolete. It will never work in our current dispensation.

You cannot enforce a law on something you don't control. The state has lost control over accommodation. The private sector has taken over. It is demand that is driving the price. The solution is an aggressive social housing that will take the pressure off private accommodation. When private landlords begin to chase individuals to rent accommodation, you can now regulate. For now, it is the tenants chasing the landlords. You can't regulate prices in a demand driven market.

House Rentals is reflective of how Okada is out of hand now and has become a serious nuisance in Ghana.
When the system is tough, people must survive and care for their families. Food, school fees, transport, quality water has become expensive to ordinary citizen so govt cant blame too much if they dont provide social amenities to lessen the burden. After increasing the rent, I had to pay 2 years advance only this April. The landlady plainly told me "she cant do anything with 1yr advance". This is a tenant already using the facility. Well, I paid to have peace for 2yrs
