The property does not belong to this man self. According to him the property belongs another person. So what's the drama. So much indiscipline and illegalities going on in greater accra by people like these. Because of them Accra is choked, congested and filthy. I support the demolitions. Next time people will be discipline in their land dealings.

Some people know the right thing to do but they will not do it. The man is fully aware the place is not meant for buildings, but he went ahead to do so. I think some Ghanaians are also to be blamed for the worsening indiscipline in our country. Let's call a spade a spade. It's about time we hold the bull by the horn. We can never progress as a country if we continue to condone indiscipline. By the way, if they received permit for the structures, then authorities and public institutions responsible for this must be equally held accountable.

Many have resorted to ;I was not informed and what have you' but this won't work. Such encroachers, illegal occupiers just ignore, disregard all prior court orders and when the time is due they cry foul. Do they realize the costs of all the court processes, bailiffs, publications in newspapers, police protection and whatever before demolition and possession is carried out? I don't pity them one bit !

Why were people given permission to build properties in restricted areas and Ramsar sites ???? Who gave permission ?????????? Who took bribes to get permission ?????????
Too many people in Ghana believe that they can do whatever they want because they know a “big” man or woman. About 3 years ago, someone foolishly tried to build in Department of Parks and Gardens land in Cantonments. He claimed to have bought some of the land - how did this happen ??? Someone also built a petrol station on Parks and Gardens land in Wa.
Who are the officials or politicians who allow such foolish behaviour to happen ?? So much of this nonsense was allowed to happen over the last 8 years. So many Ghanaians have problems following rules and enforcement. This negatively affects everyone else - just look at the terrible flooding that we have seen in Accra over the last few years because of buildings and walls in water courses. Some people behave in a brainless way, with no respect for the nation’s environment.
Most sensible cities allocate PROTECTED green spaces and parks for the benefit of residents. In Ghana, we stupidly cut down trees and try to build concrete structures everywhere. Do we want a concrete jungle ??
