Because must be cancelled kids shouldn't have to undergo such torture..infact left to me the only exams kids will undertake or participate in will be exams at the end of shs. This will determine if a student has the grades to enroll in a university or voational.program. otherwise, just pass the kids from primary till shs so they can have some confidence in themselves. Look, I have Canadian teacher friends in elementary, middle school to high school and teachers tell me that the govt actually repirmands them.for.NOT passing the kids through the various grades the end goal is to make sure that each Canadian kid graduate from high school and if they don't have the grades to gain admission to university the govt has done its job..the kids can attend a vocational school or enroll in a community College. Kids are going through hell with these useless beverages and jhs exams its useless and a waste of money Ghana leaders smh if you can't think. Why can't you also emulate what the best are doing?

How come you write English and RME, the next day social studies and Creative Arts, the next day Science and BDT, the next day maths and Ghanaian language and the final day ICT and french. How do they refresh their minds for the next exams. After you finishing 1st day the next day papers how will you learn them.
GES should do something about it. The tension is too much.
I believe there should be a competition for the examination body. WAEC is playing monopoly.
If you want to travel to England or US you will write either Toffel or sat, the one you will prefer

YES, THIS DOGMATIC SYSTEM OF EDUCATION MUST CHANGE. TRYING TO PUT TOO MUCH THEORETICAL INFORMATION INTO ANYBODY'S HEAD BY FORCE ONLY WEARS THE PERSON DOWN. YOU SEE CHILDREN LEAVING HOME TO SCHOOL AT 6:30 AM AND COMING BACK AT 5:00PM WITH HOME WORKS AND SO ON. THE CHILD NEVER HAS A GOOD REST AND SLEEP AND CONTINUES THE FOLLOWING DAY WITH THE SAME CYCLE. WHY ARE WE SO WICKED AND STUPID? WHY ARE WE NOT BEING SERIOUS IN THIS COUNTRY?
ASIDES THAT, WHY ARE DIFFERENT SCHOOLS USING DIFFERENT TEXTBOOKS ALL OVER THE COUNTRY? LET'S STOP THAT NONSENSE!!!! ALL TEXTBOOKS USED BY STUDENTS FROM BASIC ONE TO SHS 3 MUST BE THE SAME FOR EACH CLASS. WHY MUST WE BE USING DIFFERENT TEXTBOOKS BY DIFFERENT AUTHORS AND DIFFERENT PUBLISHERS FOR STUDENTS AT THE SAME LEVEL ACROSS THE COUNTRY? OH GHANA, LET'S BE SERIOUS!!!

That is why we loaded the basic education courses so, and you are condemning the best education reform in the world, who dare you.
This is the best education reform and very soon Ghana would soon produce more engineers, doctors etc. that would be idle with no job.

I would have flunked out had I ever been forced to sit for two final exams on the same day.
I took 7 courses every semester in undergrad because I had a dual major -- Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering. I thought it was normal because we took 7 classes every semester at my high school polytechnic. I then took 12-14 courses every semester in graduate school -- Robotics and MBA. Again, I thought it was normal because it was allowed. When I went to Harvard for my PhD, they limited me to 5 courses: 4 in my area plus a foreign language. I had to apply for a waiver to take the 5th course because they said it was too much. I was an A student at Harvard, but nothing compares to the 14A's I earned in one semester at Carnegie Mellon.
Our exams were staggered. I never had to sit for two exams on the same day. Not even in high school.

The last time l asked a final year SHS student the name of Ghana’s vice president, the answer l had was Jean Mensah. Who composed the national anthem, she mentioned Kofi Annan. Even the minister of Education was a struggle.
My final question was, what program does she want to read at the university? Immediately she mentioned medicine.
As parents we need to encourage our children to at least spend an hour listening to 7 pm news and also read widely to broaden their horizon. At my age l have dictionary on my phone and every day is for learning new things

If that is the case, then, I don’t think taking exams in 10 subjects at that level is too much for them to bear, even at their ages (14 – 16). What can be considered, if necessary, and maybe should be taken into consideration, is the duration/daily intervals of the exams. A maximum of 2 weeks, for a 1&1/2 to 2 hours exam sitting, in my opinion, should be ideal at that level.
Most of those who went through the old system (GCE) and were even in the same age bracket as those of the current system, had their exams in that manner. Even though they were internally assessed at their level, the exams were quite rigorous. Some of them went to the secondary schools right from primary class six, at ages 10 – 13, yet they went through that system successfully.
