On May Day 2026, President John Dramani Mahama embarked on a series of activities to commemorate the holiday.
As part of these activities, he traveled to the Eastern Region to begin a regional tour.
Among the events he attended, a viral video has surfaced on social media capturing a heartwarming moment during a photo session in Koforidua.
During the session, the president posed for photographs with various groups. In one instance, a young lady who attempted to stand in front of him was pulled aside by a member of her team.

However, upon noticing what had happened, Mahama intervened. He gently pulled the young lady back to stand in front of him and placed his hand around her for the photograph.
Visibly excited, the lady beamed with a broad smile and expressed her appreciation with joyful gestures.
