It was an undeniably surreal moment for some female cooks when they met former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in the flesh.

Even more surreal was the fact that he paused for photo sessions with them and as can be seen from the video shared by The State News on X, some of them could not hide their joys, so much so that they had to do something even more memorable; plant a kiss on his lips.

With the former president also beaming with smiles as he posed for the evening pictures, the cooks, in their traditional white apparels, flooded him with their phones as each person tried to get his gaze in their camera for that special memory.

As they did, one of the ladies, having set her selfie camera in place and posed for the shot, turned to the right cheek of the former president and planted her kiss on it.

Akufo-Addo, loving the moment, only smiled along as he continued to pose for the photos with the ladies.

It is unclear what event the former president had attended, but the faint background music in the video depicted an event held in the evening somewhere.
