Black Starlets coach, Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum has highlighted the role of scientific preparation in football success during his time at Ebusua Dwarfs.

He recounted how a simple adjustment in travel planning led to victory over Techiman Eleven Wonders.

“Traveling a day before the match wasn’t going to help us, so we decided to go two days earlier,” he explained.

The decision paid off as Dwarfs secured an important win and stressed that rest, preparation and mental focus are crucial components of performance.

“We rested, we focused, and we played good football and won. That’s where the science comes in” he added.
