I am glad that the Presiding Judge is a woman. She can very much understand what it means to be raped in our society? If found guilty, the accused should be made to do about 20 years imprisonment for rape, assault and torture. He should not be allowed a Parole for being of good behavior.
I wish he should be chained and Padlocked to work for 10 hours daily and fed only twice a day. His Breakfast should always be KOKO SAKORA. He should not be taken to the hospital but the Prison Medical Doctor should attend to him at the Prison. His treatment and working should be televised live on various TV channels so that it will be a deterrent to such future criminals.
I wish that MAY HIS ROAD BE ROUGH. He should be Chained and Padlocked to work at very busy parts of the town so that the Children can see and hoot at him.
I will suggest he should be given 24 lashes with Horsewhip at the bare back and buttocks and Fifteen such lashes under his feet every three days at such Public Places. Such whipping should be done by Muscular Policemen or Soldiers. There should be no mercy on him.

These are steps you take to protect students and make sure campus police is widely visible and there are toll free numbers displayed all over campus for students to call them is they are inndanger..if it's after hours and a female has to travel from one spot to the other. Can she call campus security for an escort? Why aren't you learning from what other schools are doing? The schools I attended did these and you have leaders at this university they hear of such issues but they aren't doing anything to eliminate or solve them..why?
