This is what happens when men and women of God stray into politics via the pulpit. Invidually, yes, they can express their political views or sentiments but once they do so via the church's platform, then that is when the volcano erupts as is happening now. I hope reputable and respected men of God avoid messy situations like this.
The Clergy must remember that politicians can go crazy and nasty when necessary and that's one of the reasons why they need to be circumspect in their utterances.
To both sides in this 'battle'...please cease fire. There are far more important matters to worry about than this. Some of us are worrying about where the next meal will come from.
